Diese Stiefel hat Stiller vor ein paar Tagen in seinem Blog vorgestellt – ohne zu erwähnen, dass sie a) kostenlos und b) Mesh sind. Ersteres ist genial – denn die Qualität der Dinger ist sehr gut. Zwar nicht besser als die Créme de la Créme der handelsüblichen Sculpt-Stiefel aber auf jeden Fall sehr, sehr gut. Und hey: “You can´t argue with free!”

Wie man es auch betrachtet – die Teile passen wirklich gut zu einem Mittelalter-Fantasy-Avatar. Allerdings ist da dieser zweite Haken: Mesh.

Ich hatte mit Mesh noch nie Probleme. Seit es implementiert wurde kann ich es sehen, da Firestorm doch recht zügig auf den Zug aufsprang. Aber – für wieviel Prozent der anderen Spieler gilt das? Klar, man kann nicht auf jeden Rücksicht nehmen, der es nicht schafft, einen meshfähigen Viewer zu installieren (und man hebe sich hinweg mit Geheule wie “Mein Rechner ist zu alt, da läuft kein V2/3-basierter Viewer!”. Dazu sage ich: Völliger Quark. Selbst auf meinem acht Jahre alten Zweitknecht läuft der V3 mit 15 bis 20 FPS auf “hoch”. Der Firestorm zwar nicht mehr, aber der Lindenviewer problemfrei. Und mal ehrlich – wer mit einer Rechenmaschine in SL herumwandert, die noch älter ist … also

Wieder ein Abend der zur Hälfte an den Zwerg ging. Das aber hatte sich gelohnt! Immerhin isser jetzt so etwas wie ein Adliger und ihm ist ein Haus geschenkt wurden. Dort hab ich ihn auch erstmal geparkt, bis heute Abend zumindest. Kann ja nicht sein das der Arme jedesmal unter freien Himmel auf mich warten muss. Aber die Zeiten sind ja jetzt vorbei. Ansonsten war ich dann noch wie von Zasta empfohlen bei DNA und Sacred nach Skins gucken, was aber nicht viel gebracht hat. Bei DNA sah es im Eingangsbereich zwar ziemlich vielversprechend aus aber meine Erwartungen wurden dann doch nicht erfüllt und ich bin mit leeren Händen wieder raus.

Bei Sacred bin ich mir nicht so sicher ob wirklich der Laden gemeint war wo ich war oder ob es da noch einen anderen gibt. Irgendwie wirkte das alles ziemlich altbacken und war auch von der Präsentation her nicht wirklich ansprechend. Beim Shoppen ist das bei mir sowieso immer so ein Ding. Wenn ich mir etwas kaufe dann muss es mir eigentlich sofort ins Auge fallen und vor allem sofort gefallen. Mir erst was schön zu gucken funktioniert bei mir nicht. There’s been a few fails on this blog that have been taken in stride. We’ve mentioned Sahale Ishmene quite a few times. The end result? Him messaging me, saying he found the blog pretty humorous. And Aeden Shinn? The same thing. These are two of the biggest groups in GE Gor that people love to hate. While it is a game, we’re all people behind this computer and we need to learn to LAUGH AT VIRTUAL STUPIDITY EVEN IF IT’S YOUR OWN. This blog isn’t some official news source. It’s a fucking gossip blog that’s for humor. If you don’t like it, don’t read it. These words are about as threatening as a fucking lunatic driving by your house screaming, “THE COLOR SCHEME ON YOUR HOME LOOKS LIKE VOMIT COLOR”.

I failed today. It was a full on brain fart, stupid moment. You see yesterday, I didn’t drink my Jameson Whiskey, so today I was a bit on the stupid side. A friend of mine was caught in the FSO camp. And they also had a kill on sight for Chocolate Little so I thought, “Well, they have a kill on sight for her and a buddy is caught. What shall we do? FUCKING RAID THEIR PUNK ASSES. But there was just one problem; I had no IC that anyone was captured there. And the shitty part? I DIDN’T THINK OF THIS UNTIL I WAS SCALING UP THE FUCKING GRAPPLE. Don’t ask me why it was mid grapple that I thought about this. Perhaps it was the feeling of the rope between my legs.

As we were inside the fort, I thought, “Well, they can just call a moderator and invalidate”, and we can all explain how stupid Hemloc is right? WRONG.

After purchasing fish for dinner, I am led back to the shop to make good on my agreement to check out Barat’s wound.

Kait considered objecting but she was too curious about the injury to make a fuss. “So tell me what you did to the bosk to have it harm you.”

Barat swept off his cloak, laying it over the counter, leaning on it heavily. He was glad the encounter with his ex FC had not left him with anything permanent, but to say he had his bell rung was an understatement. “Evidently, I called her a name, bosks can be overly sensitive, I have discovered.”

Kait waved a hand to the guards to close the doors and be on alert. She had learned her lessons well with this man. Pulling the pins free she removed the veil before asking simply. “Why would an animal care what you chose to call it?” As she approached she realized something was not quite right. “Are you ok other than the head injury. You don’t seem yourself.”

Callie Faustus grunts under the weight of her loaded basket and settles it higher on her shoulders as she looks around

Kait shakes herself from her thoughts curious what the woman might be carrying as she watches her approach. “Tal Lady. You seem to be carrying a heavy load.”

Callie Faustus saunters up to the woman and nods her head politely. “Tal Lady. Ken Ah interest ye in some fresh fish? Caught jest this mornin”

Kait lifts her nose in the air already having some idea as to the freshness of the fish. “An interesting offer and how long ago were they added to your pack? A day, two or perhaps, maybe even three judging from the smell.”

Callie Faustus: Narrows her eyes at the allegation but her irritation at the snooty comment is quickly replaced by a humored chuckle. “Ta’ be tha sorp. They ken smell up right quick. But ah guarantee despite tha smell they be delicious” Nods her head at her words. “Tha cook up right well, jest add ah little salt and they be ah meal in themselves.”

One of the first blogs I did was on Black Bows. You can find the entry here.

Today, we rescued Fcuk, because well…Fcuk needed rescuing. And Black Bows had some new members join apparently.

In this rescue today, it was quite apparent that this sim is definitely in the top 5, if not top 3 of all time pussy forts I’ve ever seen. How the layout works is you have to grapple the front gate. Once inside the camp, the entire fucking thing is a fishbowl that makes me want to rape my neighbor’s garden gnomes again. You can’t grapple anywhere once inside. It’s all lockpickable doors in which, being that it is a fishbowl, the lockpickers can be shot from any angle.

I have a dream that one day, there are no super forts or excessive kool doors. And believe me there were plenty.

Der Mann, der tot war, hatte einen Namen bekommen. Interessanterweise war es sein Name. Nun, nicht wirklich sein Name – aber das würde er den Römern nicht unbedingt auf die Nase binden. Nun hatte er zumindest einen Wert …) erklärte, dass diese Kräuter nur sinnvoll wären, wenn man auch alles Haar abrasieren würde.

Systematisch entfernte Thalab jedes Haar. Seine Bewegungen waren gelassen – er war ruhig, denn er hatte heute einige Versprechen bekommen.

Wieder hatte ihn der andere Römer getriezt. So wenig er von ihrer Sprache verstand, so deutlich war doch, was der Andere gemeint hatte. Und wieder hatte ihm der, den er Dominus nennen musste, erklärt, dass er mit jedem Kampf die Möglichkeit hätte, sich an den Kämpfern des Anderen zu rächen. Für jede Demütigung. Das klang gut.

Tja. Erst mal wohl nix mehr mit Blogeinträgen zum Frühstückskaffee für Mell. Oder doch – wenn sie abends nicht schaut und dann erst morgens nachsieht. Auf jeden Fall muss ich mich aus “diversen Gründen” (meine neue Standardbegründung für praktisch alles. Klingt ominös und man muss nicht ins Detail. Dramatic Chipmunk!) wohl eine Zeitlang aufs abends-Blogschreiben zurückziehen. Ist aber auch nicht schlimm. Man muss es nur so sehen: Nicht später, sondern in Wirklichkeit früher! Ganze zwölf Stunden früher. Wow!

So. Genug Wappenröcke um selbst den eifrigsten Fetischisten zufriedenzustellen. Jetzt auch noch rot/silber mit Sonne drauf. Hinten natürlich mal wieder verzerrt und deshalb eher eine Art Nervenzelle. Oder Amöbe mit Scheinfüßchen. SL eben …

Wie immer gibts das Teil in vier verschiedenen Längen, drei davon Flexi, eine Sculpt. Die zweifarbige Hose gehört eigentlich zu der ganz langen Version, aber ich fand es sieht neckisch aus, wenn man die auch dazu trägt. Ein bißchen Hofnarrmäßig und ein bißchen “ein, zwei Jahrhunderte modemäßig seiner Zeit voraus”. In diesem Sinne schon wieder ein Asterix-Zitat, das man erraten kann oder auch nicht: Man muss mit der Zeit gehen und antik sein!

.... les ich was von den Gebrüdern Grimm. Dacht ich bisher und jetzt ziehe ich schon mehrere Tage mit obigen Typen durch die Gegend und lass ihn diverse Abenteuer bestehen. Gut der Typ ist erst ein Level3 Zwerg und noch ziemlich schlecht ausgestattet aber das wird noch. Dafür bieten mir er und seine Kumpane momentan mehr Spaß, Spannung und Adrenalin als ich es von Kasra erwarten kann. So viel das ich davon gestern Abend fast noch Lu in Secondlife verpasst hätte. Irgendwie konnte ich mich aber doch los reißen und in SL einloggen. Für mehr als ein Schäferstündchen in einer Nussschale die sich Boot schimpfte reichte es dann aber doch nicht. Oder ist das dann ein Schifferstündchen?


Wie auch immer! Jedenfalls führte das dazu das der Abend zweigeteilt war. Erst  Monster schlachten mit dem Zwerg und dann noch mal kurz Skins gucken. Wobei die Teilung dabei der angenehmste Teil war. Ach ja die Skins. Ich hatte da ein paar Anregungen aus Zastas Kommentar zu meinem gestrigen Posting aufgegriffen und bin dann mal losgezogen. Zuerst war ich bei the Abyss und als ich am Landepunkt aufschlug hatte ich das ungute Gefühl, hier warst du doch schon mal, wenn nicht sogar mehrfach
