1. How do I get my blog syndicated on slgorean.metavirtual.us?
Go to the JOIN page and sign up. There is a link-back requirement to http://slgorean.metavirtual.us. There is no blog age limit to be syndicated and the syndication policy is to ‘not discriminate’.
2. I only blog Gorean part time, can I be syndicated?
Yes! Both WordPress and Blogger provide category/label feeds respectively. With this you can provide me with the category/label feed for your Gorean posts and I’ll be happy to syndicate them. For more information here are some links:

The gist is you choose a category/label (WordPress uses categories and Blogger uses labels) and consistently use that for all your Gorean posts. Then on the JOIN page put your category/label RSS in the ‘special RSS feed’ section of the sign up form. You are welcome to contact me if you have questions/problems and I will be happy to help.
3. I don’t use WordPress or Blogger – will my blog work?
I’ve been running feeds for over 3 years now so I’ve tested a bunch of blog software personally and for users. The end result of blog software I’ve gotten to work properly with RSS category syndication is:

4. How does the excerpting work and why do you excerpt?
Excerpting basically posts the first 200 words of your post and then provides a link to the source if they wish to read more. Images done before the 200th word are syndicated, anything after that 200th word is not syndicated. Excerpting drives traffic to your blog, which is the point of a true blog aggregator.
5. Do I retain the intellectual property of my posts?
Of course! I’ve made it very clear that all content on the website is owned by the originating blog author. I have made extra efforts to point to your blog post when someone clicks on the title or the excerpting link. If you have any concerns you are always welcome to contact me.
6. How long do you keep posts on the feed?
Posts are currently kept on the feed indefinitley. When a new blog requests syndication it will syndicate only the last 30 days of content.
7. How can I help slgorean.metavirtual.us?
Spread the word about the feed! Make sure your link-backs are properly set. If you have suggestions or recommendations please don’t hesitate to use the contact form to let the administrator know what they can do to better serve you. Lastly, clicking on the advertisment at the top. With the exception of the link-back the rest is optional.
