I was standing on the sand, lovely as it is you know, when the Alar were suddenly upon me! Not all of them mind you, but just one. And, as it happened I was barefoot – again. It’s been interesting around Einar lately! The villagers are stirring. At least, mostly the men that is. For a few days now they have been breaking a sweat trying to hone up their manly skills and put us women in our places. I’m sure there are some women who are taking this quite seriously. And, in a proper Gorean environment, who would blame them? I remain a bit skeptical, however.

After an interesting conversation in my instant message box, I decided though that it might be amusing to do something which at the same time might be a tad childish was also mildly entertaining. That is, let’s have a poll. What kind of a poll, you ask? Why, a sexiness poll. I mean, if we are all running the chances of being collared for whatever flip reason the men are coming up with at the time (objectifying us poor women) then let us create a way to strike back!

Liebe SL-Slaver,

zuallererst möchte ich Euch meinen größten Respekt aussprechen. Ich könnte mir viele Rollen vorstellen, aber die Rollen des Slavers nicht. Warum? Nun, weil ihr vermutlich der Prellbock für sämtliche ava-weibliche und bio-weibliche Dumpfbacken seid, die jemals auf die Idee kommen in SL-Gor die Rolle der Kajira zu spielen, aus mannigfaltigen psychologischen Gründen, von denen vermutlich niemals einer ist, gutes Rollenspiel zu erleben oder gar dazu beizutragen.

Vermutlich sind Eure Ausbildungspläne genau auf dieses Klientel abgestimmt, denn anders kann ich mir diesen Wust sich widersprechender und zudem noch uneinheitlich antrainierter Onlinismen vom der Bazi-Tee-Zeremonie bis zum Gebetsgemurmel Richtung Priesterkönige nicht vorstellen.

Hinzu kommt, dass Ihr dazu noch die Aufgabe auf Euch nehmt, nicht nur die Kajirae an Eurer Kette mit stupiden Trainingseinheiten zu bespaßen, sondern auch Euer restliches RP-Umfeld gleich mitzuerziehen. Angefangen bei Benimm-Kursen für freie Frauen (ja, was die eigene Familie halt nicht mehr leisten kann… oder wie?), endend bei Zurechtweisungen anderer freier Frauen und Männer hinsichtlich ihres Erziehungsvermögens in Sachen Kajira & Kajirus, weil ja nur allein der SL-Slaver weiß wie der perfekte Serve auszusehen hat.

Gemüsesuppe

Lu hatte das erste Gemüse aus dem Garten geerntet und sich gleich daran gemacht eine Suppe davon zu kochen. Zwar ziemlich fettarm, da sich die Suppe vor allem durch das völlige fehlen von Fleisch auszeichnete aber was will man machen, ein saftiges Steak wächst nun mal nicht am Busch. Ob die Suppe nun auch schmecken würde, war vorerst nicht zu erfahren da Lu meinte das die Suppe erst noch ein zwei Ahn ziehen müsste um ihren vollem Geschmack zu entfalten. Ich vertraute ihr in der Hinsicht einfach mal und machte mich an meine Arbeit.

Wollte ich zumindest, doch als ich einem Blick aus der Schmiede warf, zog eine kleine Menschentraube am Sklavenhaus meine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Zwar zerstreute diese sich recht schnell und zurück blieben nur der Hauptmann und eine blondhaarige Frau. Genau diese Frau war es aber die meine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich zog und so ging ich langsam näher, zum einen um sie besser sehen zu können und zum anderen um vielleicht einen Gesprächsfetzen aufzufischen. Gestern habe ich genau das getan, was ich vor ein paar Tagen pädagogisch wertvoll verteufelt habe: Ich bin ohne Plan, was mein Gladiator im Moment plotmäßig anfangen könnte, nach Brundisium gekommen. Traf dann auch noch auf eine Rollenspielgemeinschaft, die sich grade spielmäßig in zwei Epizentren gespalten hatte, die sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt nicht gut treffen konnten. Und auf einen Msanaa, der genauso planlos war wie ich. Im Prinzip also das Setting für einen “perfect storm” in Sachen miesem RP-Abend.

Aber – nicht so diesmal und schon gar nicht mit den Dingen, die so in Brundisium passieren. Msanaa und Thalab überlegten eine Weile fruchtlos hin und her (die Rache an Corinus ist bei den Beiden derzeit beherrschendes Thema … und bei dieser Rache unerkannt davonzukommen, natürlich) und entschieden sich dann für zunächst ein wenig Zermürbungstaktik.

Das RP gewann schnell an Fahrt, es kam die übliche Rivalität mit der fetten Gazelle des Ludus Granatus hinzu (Thalab ist völlig der Meinung, der Brocken muss sich nicht so aufblasen – rein kampftechnisch steht es 1:1) und dann noch ein wenig unerklärlicher Wutanfall von Serena und schon war der Abend RP-mäßig voll im Plus. Hobo blinked rapidly as a fine spray of hot blood hit her in the face from the thumping artery beneath her fingers. Sa'ng Fori is the store I hit up today, an eclectic mix of fantasy and Medieval, with a touch of Gor thrown in. My favorite item they carried was by and far their NPCs! Some of them move and animate even, and while I question their lagginess, they're certainly awesome for around 10-25 prims a piece, which even with mesh versions is quite a bargain in that level of detail.

The NPCs or mannequins had no problems with level of detail on zooming out, and were overall shadowed and and textured realistically with no flat or boring surfaces, or overly repetitive texturing.

They have a load of things here, so specifically I am going to stay based on the NPCs and come back later so I don't have an epic huge long post.

So I think one of the coolest things is that a lot of these NPCs actually make noise and some subtly move, there were some sweeping, dancing, the music player has a choice of songs, the belly dancer goes in circles, etc. I think they're really darn cool because there is so many times that you could really use an NPC character. Die lila Kaste

Gestern erhielt ich, als Reaktion auf einen meiner Blogpost, eine etwas längere IM. Ich will auch gar nicht auf das alles eingehen was darin stand, denn wenn das hätte öffentlich werden sollen, dann wäre das sicherlich als Kommentar in meinen Blog gelandet. Eine Sache hat es mir aber jedoch angetan und das war die lila Kaste. Ja richtig gelesen, die lila Kaste. Vermutlich die sechste hohe Kaste, nach gelb, rot, grün weiß und blau, nun also auch noch LILA! Nicht die Schreiberin der IM war der Meinung das es diese Kaste gibt, sondern sie behauptete Leute zu kennen, die die Meinung vertreten das es diese Kaste tatsächlich gibt.

Wer ist da nun drin? Richtig, jeder Ubar und jede Tatrix! Ich weiß jetzt nicht ob man mit erlangen dieses Amtes einfach so in die Kaste reinfällt und wird dann vom Himmel einen mit lilanen Roben überschüttet, keine Ahnung, auch nicht was ein Ubar macht wenn der Krieg dann vorbei ist. Bleibt er in der dann nutzlosen lila Kaste, geht er zurück in seine alte Kaste oder kann man der Kaste nur durch dem Tod auf dem Schlachtfeld entrinnen? Und vor allem, wieso trägt eine Tatrix lila? Fragen über Fragen!

Also ,irgendwie verpasse ich zur Zeit alles was um mich herum geschieht. Bekomme nur die halben Dinge mit und muss immer bei Dina nachlesen ,was denn nun war. Ich war mal flott darin,den Chat zu verfolgen und noch selber zu tippen.Das geht einfach nicht mehr ,zu lange pausiert? Auf alle Fälle nervt es mich langsam und ich frage mich ,was bringt es mir dazu sein, aber nix mit zu bekommen. Es liegt einzig an mir, denn die Dinge die geschehen,passieren genau so schnell (oder langsam) wie immer. Vielleicht bin ich auch einfach immer nur zu kurz da. Ändern muss sich das auf alle Fälle.
Genau wie gestern wieder, da war irgendetwas los ,aber ich habs nicht mitbekommen.Und ja ich war dabei, nicht irgendwo, nein am Ort des Geschehens Warte also bis Dina schreibt. Darum schreibe ich auch zur Zeit keine RP Erlebnisse hier. Die kommen erst dann wenn ich ihnen auch wieder richtig folgen kann. Oder............mal schauen was so kommt.

Greetings and salutations my friends. We are back. It has been a nice break. During this break, I’ve had a chance to take a step back and look at this whole blogging thing. The first four months, we went straight and solid, doing at least a couple of posts per week and it was all a blur. Much like a time in college when I was at my first party. I woke up hung over the next morning with the word “penis” written across my forehead.

So, what does the future hold for this blog thing? Well, for one, we brought in a new writer, Kill Difference of VNO. She has been running her own blog in the past. In her recent posts, she pointed out some contradictions directed towards me and some members of Einar. And as you can see, no hard feelings are held because this blogging business should really be taken with a grain of salt. Ja, es ist eine feine Sache, das Würfelkampf-System. Deftige Emotes, gedrechseltes Aufeinanderhauen, Spaß für Akteure und Zuschauer. Allerdings ist der Weg dahin manchmal ein steiniger welcher.

Vom RP habe ich gestern relativ wenig mitbekommen – eigentlich hatte ich gerade eingefädelt, dass Jonah und Orestes heute endlich mal den Maester zu packen bekommen um ihn zu befragen, hatte es sogar schon geschafft, Orestes das “warum” klarzumachen – da tauchte Ser Lionels auf, war mal wieder ganz sein bezauberndes Selbst und innerhalb kürzester Zeit war ein Duell unvermeidlich.

Der Hof war binnen kurzem mit vielen Zuschauern gefüllt, die auch viel Freude an der Sache hatten. Und ich hatte die Gelegenheit, den beiden Kämpfern mitten während des Duells in einem Crashkurs am lebenden Objekt das Kampfsystem beizubringen.

Im Prinzip ist es völlig banal. Man muss es nur schaffen, sich von der P&P-Vorstellung zu lösen. Aber nochmal ganz einfach für alle:

Beide Kämpfer würfeln einmal gleichzeitig, damit man bestimmen kann, wer zuerst angreift. Die höhere Zahl gewinnt.
Kämpfer 1 (der die höhere Zahl hatte) schreibt sein Angriffsemote.
Kämpfer 2 (der die niedrigere Zahl hatte) würfelt. Hat er eine 1 – 49 schafft er es nicht, dem Angriff auszuweichen oder ihn zu parieren. Von
